mmm...cupcakes

oh, i am so excited right now! i just got back from good will, and it was pretty much the best trip ever. i almost had a craftgasm in goodwill. i found these amazing encyclopedias of craftiness, and had to call my mom and beg for her to let me get them. it's a set of 24 books from the 70s called the family creative workshop, and they have the most beautiful close up cover photos. i can't explain how amazing these books are. there's everything from metals to woodworking to sewing to jewelry to cooking to fibers to toys to i don't even know what else. i also got a pair of yellow canvas mary janes, red sequins, red lace, and a white glass bead necklace. i might share pictures later, if i take pictures. so, today is a good day so far.

dude, i have a migraine, and i'm talking engrish today.

my friday morning was fueled by insomnia, suki's new hair, and the movie ghost world. i have lots of new necklaces and earrings to show for it too. please let me know what you think of the new stuff in my shop.

next up i'm heading to school to screenprint.

so, last night i was out buying groceries with a friend. when we were waiting in line to check out a three-year-old girl walked up to me and stared at the flowers on my skirt. a few seconds later she steps closer and pokes me in the leg, which startles my friend, and confuses me. does this sort of thing happen when you wear pink tights?

on further reflection, why is a three-year-old up at 11:30 pm?

yay!  my daisy earrings are currently featured on the main page of etsy.  i sent some pairs of these and the blue roses, as well as lots of other cute things, in for the march sampler.

i had a pretty great valentine's day! my friend christopher showed up at my door at 8:30 am with a red heart shaped cake that was orange flavored and a bag of ingredients to make me breakfast. he's too sweet. check out the valentine's cuteness behind the cut.

on saturday, i made zombie cupcakes with my friend christopher.  they're completely made from scratch, even the icing.  

tomorrow we're going on a valentine's date to goodwill and out to dinner.  my sampler came on saturday.  i got some amazing stuff.  i will post a picture of it in the sampler community later when i get back from school and reassemble it.

woot! threadless loves me! i won a gift certificate for writing them a love letter. i wrote it at 3 am, and let's just say it was on the ridiculous side, and i mentioned steve buscemi and zombies. now i get a free tshirt whenever i want.
